Jack is a tall, athletic gelding by Bandaras out of a Premium Oldenburg mare with Dutch Jumping bloodlines.
Banderas is the first approved son of the sensational European stallion Balou du Rouet, to stand in North America, standing at Dreamscape Farms. On his Dam’s side, Jack adds to not only his jumping pedigree but also his fluid movement and athleticism.
His damsire, Florian, was a successful 1.6m Grand Prix jumper for many years, placing in the top 10 every time he was out. After retiring from Show Jumping, Florian went on to train and compete at the Prix St. George level under Eleanor Klawer. This combination gives Bourbon the boldness of a show jumper with the ground covering elastic movement of a dressage horse. His Dam, Chanel II, is an extremely sweet and easy mare to handle in every regard and brings a more modern flair to his bloodline, tracing back to Neartic although she is the spitting image of her own sire, Florian.
Jack has a curious personality, an eagerness to learn and a confidence that is unmatched. His fluid motion, floaty trot and ground consuming canter make him an outstanding example of balanced breeding!
